Amsterdam, January 10, 2024 – Multi Corporation, a leading European retail management and development company, proudly announces it has been awarded the centre management, leasing and technical property management for neustädter shopping centre in Gießen, Germany.

With around 32.000 sqm of retail space, the centre located in the university city is one of the largest shopping centres in the area. It combines a balanced mix of different sectors and concepts. It has a mix of tenants from the retail, catering and service sectors and offers a modern shopping experience. The tenants include well-known concepts such as H&M, Media Markt, Jack & Jones, Woolworth and the FitX fitness centre chain.

Due to its good city centre location and excellent connections to the public transport network, the centre has a very high footfall. With over 1.000 parking spaces, the centre also has the largest multi-storey car park in the university city of Gießen. The shopping centre, opened in 2005, was extensively modernised in 2020/2021 and repositioned as an inner-city hybrid centre.

We are delighted with the new mandate and are very proud of our steady and successful expansion. With neustädter in Gießen, we have acquired a very attractive and already extensively modernised retail property. Due to its inner-city location in Gießen, the centre offers great potential for successful and further sustainable positioning,” explains Jörg-Michael Zimmermann, Managing Director Germany.

The Corestate Capital Group has owned neustädter in Gießen since the end of 2018 and has successfully revitalised the property and repositioned it in Gießen’s retail sector.

Guido Beddig, Head of Asset Management at Corestate Capital Group, is delighted with the decision to entrust Multi Corporation in Germany with the management of neustädter. “With Multi and its many years of experience and national and international expertise we have found exactly the right partner. We are looking forward to working together to fully utilise the potential and continue to successfully establish the neustädter Gießen’s cityscape. At the same time, we would like to thank Girlan Immobilien GmbH for the successful collaboration in the course of the revitalisation,” Beddig continues.
