Property management

The daily management of shopping centres is a vital instrument in increasing quality and investment value. Multi has been a pioneer in shopping centre operations for almost 30 years and has set up a refined shopping centre operation structure right across Europe. We strive to include all relevant services that will enhance the overall customer experience and achieve our cost targets for individual shopping centres.

Our mall management teams are locally based and know the regional culture. Their aim is to go the extra mile and to make the customer journey an unforgettable and pleasant experience, so visitors like to stay longer and come back. Again, and again.

Multi manages tenant relations and maximises leasing opportunities. We take care of the overall operation and marketing of the property, from positioning to building engineering services, and the design and management of refurbishments and extensions. We make sure that the space in the shopping centre is put to optimum use and that resources are used responsibly. We can measure performance indicators such as energy and water consumption or footfall on a daily or even an hourly basis. We apply global best practices and use the latest technological tools.

Redevelopment, Refurbishment & DeSIGN

Retail environments need to evolve and renew during their lifecycle if they want to remain relevant and attractive and continue to exceed the changing expectations of both shoppers and retailers. We believe in interdisciplinary collaboration involving asset management, research, leasing, and shopping centre operational teams to deliver effective and sustainable designs.

We transform first generation projects into third or fourth generation shopping centres, adapting them to constantly evolving market conditions and retail trends. This includes tenant relocation, the addition of new retail space, upgrading of common areas, improved seating and rest areas, the optimisation of routing and shopper flow, visitor navigation tools, and entrance redesign. TTDesign is Multi’s in-house studio for master-planning and architecture. They use their fundamental knowledge of shopping centre functionality to enhance the retail environments in Multi’s portfolio.
