León, July 12th 2023 – Espacio León, an established shopping centre managed by Multi Corporation in Spain, has announced further sustainability improvements with the installation of 1.035 solar panels on the building’s rooftop.
By harnessing the power of solar energy, the shopping centre is making further progress towards accomplishing its ambitious environmental objectives, with the solar panels set to have a positive impact towards the building’s goal of achieving an excellent BREEAM certification score.
Once operational, the solar panel system is projected to generate a peak power output of 558 kWp and produce 760.617 kWh of electricity annually. This clean energy production is expected to result in a 27% decrease of the overall yearly electricity consumption.
