Forum Viseu

Forum Viseu is located in the heart of the historical city centre of Viseu. The shopping centre opened in 2005 and offers retail and leisure units on three levels. It was designed by Catalan architect Joan Busquets, who gave the project a contemporary identity, using locally-sourced building materials such as granite. The landscaped surrounding area also gave a new lease of life to the banks of the river Pavia. The commercial mix includes a Pingo Doce hypermarket, 49 shops (including Zara, Lefties and Massimo Dutti) and restaurants and a six-screen cinema. In 2015, Forum Viseu completed a successful refurbishment aimed at strengthening its position in response to the demands of both consumers and retailers. An improved retail mix, new access points, more floor space and greater visual impact all helped to create the best urban lifestyle retail destination in Viseu.
