Multi Germany GmbH, part of Multi Corporation, a leading pan-European integrated service platform for retail real estate assets in Europe and Turkey, took over the management of Shopping Plaza in Garbsen, Vechte Arkaden in Nordhorn and City Rondell in Schwenningen as of 1 June 2019. The mandates include full centre management as well as leasing. With this, Multi Germany succeeds in continuing its successful expansion in the field of external service mandates and gains a major new partner in the Corestate Capital Group, a leading European real estate investment management company.

Dr Ralf Klann, Managing Director Asset Management of the Corestate Capital Group: “The three shopping centres Shopping Plaza in Garbsen, Vechte Arkaden in Nordhorn and City Rondell in Schwenningen are attractive retail properties, but they make high demands on property management due to their partial mixed-use. We are confident that Multi Germany, with its many years of experience and international expertise, can meet these requirements and take full advantage of the potential of the shopping centres for the benefit of our investors. We look forward to starting this new partnership.”

Hubert Stech, Managing Director of Multi Germany GmbH: “’Passive management’ of a shopping centre is no longer enough today. According to the principle of multitasking, pro-active, entrepreneurial-minded management which solves differentiated tasks comprehensively and is profit-oriented at various levels is what’s needed. The three new properties in Garbsen, Nordhorn and Schwenningen are an exciting challenge for us to move one step closer to our aim of becoming the best ‘full-service shopping centre management provider in Europe’.”

Shopping Plaza, Garbsen
Since Garbsen has no pedestrian zone, the centrally located shopping plaza is the largest shopping destination in the city. There is also a specialist market centre with a large grocery store in the immediate vicinity as well as the town hall and a large cinema. This mix undoubtedly makes the shopping plaza the centre of Garbsen’s shopping area. Alongside the more than 50 specialist shops, as well as service and catering establishments, on an area of approx. 20,000 square metres, part of the diversity concept is a large residential park with 57 apartments and a 5,700 square metre park on the roof of the shopping centre. Over 1,000 free parking spaces in the integrated multi-storey car park and around the centre complete the customer-friendly offer.

Vechte Arkaden, Nordhorn
The Vechte Arkaden on the Neumarkt offer direct access to the pedestrian zone and are located on the Vechte island in the centre of the water town of Nordhorn. The location in the city centre is well connected to public transport. The central bus station and around 900 parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity. Covering an area of over 7,600 square metres, visitors will find an attractive fashion-themed offering, including H&M, Esprit, Jack & Jones, Only and Camp David in over 15 stores. The Vechte Arkaden are not only modern, but this is also the largest shopping centre in the area.

City Rondell, Schwenningen
The City Rondell is the shopping destination of the residents of Schwenningen. The shopping centre has 30 speciality stores as well as a variety of services and restaurants. Well-known anchor tenants include retail chain stores such as Drogerie Müller, Woolworth and the fashion retailer Esprit. The attractive offer is complemented by local concepts such as the well-known and very popular butcher, Tannenhof. The City Rondell is located in the city centre in the immediate vicinity of the central bus station and has its own car park with over 400 parking spaces.
