Description

Hanzewijk is a grocery-anchored shopping centre in Kampen, a former Hanseatic city in the central eastern part of the Netherlands. Hanzewijk shopping centre opened in 2016, creating an aesthetic and sustainable neighbourhood convenience centre in the heart of the main residential district. It is anchored by Jumbo and Lidl supermarkets, complemented by a range of local and regional retailers. The centre offers free parking and excellent access to the historical town centre. Hanzewijk has rapidly become a preferred destination for residents in its catchment area. The recent opening of a new railway line is expected to be the catalyst for the continued growth and popularity of the city of Kampen, which may in turn lead to a future extension of the shopping centre.
