Alfa shopping centre is the most popular shopping destination in Riga, located in the north-eastern part of the city next to the city’s main road Brivibas. The shopping centre features over 200 shops on three levels, and is anchored by a Rimi hypermarket and an eight-screen multiplex cinema. The centre offers easy access by car and by public transport. To meet the growing demand, Alfa underwent an extension involving the construction of a three-storey retail building and a multi-storey car park in 2019. A major landscaping upgrade was also part of the redevelopment plan and included the creation of a green park, where visitors are able to relax and enjoy a high-quality environment. Following the extension, Alfa is not only the biggest shopping centre in Latvia, it also carved out a new position in the Latvian market, offering the widest range of products and services, food & beverage, catering and entertainment options for the whole family.
