Multi Turkey announces new management board
Multi Turkey, the leading owner and manager of modern high-quality shopping centres throughout Turkey, today announces its new management board, following the successful integration of the operations of Qubicon Real Estate Investment in Multi Turkey. Multi Turkey is a subsidiary of Amsterdam-based Multi Corporation, a leading retail real estate operating company owned by funds managed by the Blackstone Group.
Kemal Kaya has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Multi Turkey. Mr. Kaya previously served as CEO of Yapi Kredi Bank and is currently a Senior Advisor at Blackstone, overseeing Blackstone’s investment activities in the country. As Chairman, he replaces Jonathan Lurie, Managing Director at Blackstone, who will continue to serve on the Supervisory Board of Multi Corporation.
Patrick van Dooyeweert will continue in his position as Managing Director of Multi Turkey. Mr. Van Dooyeweert was previously managing partner at Qubicon and prior to that he was Managing Director at Redevco Turkey.
Michiel Wolters has been appointed as Finance Director of Multi Turkey. He joins Multi from Hertel, where he most recently served as Finance Director for the Middle East region. He replaces Steven Poelman, who has returned to Amsterdam to serve as Chief Financial Officer of Multi Corporation.

Multi Turkey’s centres cover 925,000 sqm of retail space, with over 2,100 tenants and welcome over 160 million visitors annually. Its flagship centres include Forum İstanbul and Marmara Forum in Istanbul and Gordion and Forum Ankara Outlet in Ankara.
