Multi revitalises Parade Nootdorp shopping centre and resolves vacancy issue

Thanks to seven leasing transactions covering approximately 2,500 m2, Multi has resolved the vacancy issue and completely revitalised the Parade shopping centre in Nootdorp. Action is one of the new lessees to set up business in the retail centre, with a store covering around 1.000 m2, as well as an Italian ice cream parlour. In order to make this possible, three other stores have been repositioned within the shopping centre. Shoeby Fashion, The Stone and local women’s fashion store De Bruijn relocated at the end of March. Action is set to open its doors before the summer.

Increased competitiveness
Supermarkets Jumbo and Lidl are expanding by around 400 m2 and remodelling in line with their latest retail concepts. Albert Heijn supermarket is also set to update its store. This combination of three supermarkets ensures that the retail centre has an extremely strong offering in day-to-day products, increasing its competitiveness within the local area. In addition, the floor of the car park has been completely renovated. The final construction work will be completed before the summer.

Arjen Seckel, Asset Management Director at Multi: “We have been the owners of the Parade shopping centre since December 2014 and are proud of its great mix of local businesses and nationwide chains. Thanks to the recent rearrangement and expansion of stores, the addition of new store formulas and the revitalisation of the car park, the Parade shopping centre is now ready for the future.”
